PlantPAx Modern Process Control Solution

February 14, 2022

By Dave MacLeod

Rockwell Automation PlantPAx system provides a modern approach to distributed control (aka DCS). The system shares common technology (Integrated Architecture® system) with all other automation disciplines in the plant. This approach creates a seamless information flow across the plant for optimization opportunities and enables a connected enterprise. Our scalable platform provides you with the flexibility to implement a system appropriate for your application. PlantPAx enables plant-wide control and optimization for a lower total cost of ownership and seamless integration with Intelligent Motor Control Devices, provides system scalability and modularity for engineering flexibility and faster time to market, is open to enabling new technologies which improve operation and integration with the enterprise and can be delivered and maintained by a support eco-system

PlantPAx 5.0 is the latest offering, uses a plant-wide approach that scales from skids to large operations, and provides actionable information for data-driven decision-making across your enterprise. Learn how this modern approach to a DCS with new workflows, controllers, and availability features helps streamline projects and reduce engineering efforts in our lab. Please see the agenda and other important information below.
