Honoring Front Line Employees

As an Essential Business that supplies critical infrastructure providers with the support and materials necessary to operate, Buckles-Smith remains open and operational while the Shelter in Place Order is in effect. The safety and security of employees is our top priority, and we have made every effort to provide work from home opportunities to as many of our employees as possible. However, considering the nature of our business – receiving materials, breaking them down, allocating to customer orders, and shipping those critical parts out – it is not feasible to do all jobs from home. Neither is the manning of counters for essential customers to pick up urgent orders. For this to be possible, a strategically selected crew must remain on-site to support and supply our critical infrastructure customers. Our front line includes employees from the Supply Chain and Assembly, Distribution, and Inside Sales departments.
The Buckles-Smith community wants to express our gratitude to each group and thank them for their dedicated service during the current unusual circumstances. We realize the added pressure of running lean with strict social distancing guidelines is neither ideal nor easy. Thank you for being our front line, for supporting us, and our customers, and for keeping us operational. From all of us at Buckles-Smith, thank you.
