Buckles-Smith Electric Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

San Jose, CA – January 22nd, 2015 – In 2014, Buckles-Smith Electric elected to establish a Quality Management System (QMS), which is entitled ISO 9001:2008. The company was ISO certified and registered by the end of last year, the San Jose headquarters being the primary focus for certifications while all other branches are compliant. The ISO certification includes all business units and services, including Sales and Marketing, Operations, Finance and Administration, Human Resources and IT.
While ISO certification is required by some customers since it ensures customer prioritization within the company, Buckles-Smith has decided to take this step for a multitude of other reasons as well. Becoming ISO certified has allowed the company to have better organizational structure and operation, as well as stronger and more reliable relationships with suppliers. It will also improve internal communications and sales for Buckles-Smith, allowing the company to complete long-term goals.
The quality policies and objectives that have been implemented since the ISO certification focus on many areas within the company, a few of them being a positive customer experience, employee commitment and high quality products. Buckles-Smith will be measuring, analyzing and reporting progress within all areas of the objectives in order to ensure a progressive dynamic within the company.
