Buckles-Smith Electric Hosts Rockwell Automation on the Move

San Ramon, CA – March 2nd, 2017 – On March 1st and 2nd, Buckles-Smith Electric hosted customers at Rockwell Automation on the Move in San Ramon, California. The company took this opportunity to bring together vendors and customers in order to learn about new products and trends within the industry, network with peers and earn professional development hours.
Rockwell Automation on the Move acted as a mini-automation fair, as it provided technical sessions and hands-on labs for individuals to learn about and personally test new products and technologies within the electrical distribution industry. The two-day event was designed to provide solutions for end users, equipment builders, system integrators and more, and proved to be a great educational opportunity for Buckles-Smith and its customers.
Buckles-Smith added to the event itself in order to show appreciation for its customers through a hospitality event entitled the Buckles Beer Garden. On Wednesday night, the company hosted its customers at the San Ramon Marriott for an evening full of beer tasting, games, raffles and more. Multiple local breweries from the East Bay attended the event with their own tasting stations at which customers could taste-test different beers in provided Buckles-Smith beer steins. Moreover, Buckles-Smith manufacturing partners had their own tasting station at which they also handed out swag to the attendees. The night filled with fun ended with dinner and a raffle.
Buckles-Smith is an independent electrical wholesaler supplying the industrial markets and the contractors that serve them throughout Northern California and is currently ranked in the top 130 largest distributors in the country.
