BUCKLES-SMITH BUILDS SALES TEAM TO BETTER SERVE MONTEREY COUNTY

Salinas, CA – March 8th, 2011 – Today Buckles-Smith Electric announces additions to its Monterey County team with Account Managers Pat Ballew and Aimee Eala, Project Manager Eric Ramos, and Inside Sales Representative Alex Molina.  This team brings a collective 55 years of electrical industry experience, serving the needs of the industrial, commercial and residential construction markets. This move strengthens Buckles-Smith’s presence in the market and facilitates continuity of service to customers formerly served by Central Wholesale, who announced in January its intention to cease its operations.

In response to the new additions, Bill Edwards, Salinas Service Center Supervisor, commented, “Buckles-Smith plans to provide long term, quality support to Monterey County.  Simultaneously bringing on Aimee, Eric, Pat and Alex not only provides a strong support team for our customers, but also fosters future growth and ensures continued success.”

The new sales team compliments the existing Salinas Service Center employees, Bill Edwards, Service Center Supervisor, and Caroline Foster and Justin Esteban, Inside Sales Representatives.  With this inclusive sales team Buckles-Smith looks forward to providing top-quality service to the industrial, commercial and residential construction businesses in Monterey County.

In addition to the customer support team, Buckles-Smith also announces the expansion of its existing Salinas facility to accommodate additional on-hand inventory to meet the same day delivery needs of customers in the local market.

Founded in San Jose in 1939, Buckles-Smith is the oldest electrical distributor in Northern California.  Buckles-Smith provides its customers with broad local inventory, next day delivery/same day pick-up, technical support, training seminars, inventory management and ecommerce services.
