Pricing Administrator

Summary
The Pricing Administrator manages pricing databases, national agreements, and vendor rebate processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Customer Pricing Setup/Administration
- Administer, scrub, and adjust customer specific pricing
- Set up customer specific pricing
- Set up new or modified customer pricing in account receivable master
- Meet with account managers and inside sales as needed for training or customer pricing management
- Provide business system pricing module support and development
- Support pricing team as a backup for product cost data management
- Create customer price books
Pricing Agreement Ship and Debit (SPA) Administration
- Timely entry and modification of all cost and sell pricing for National SPA’s
- Distribute assigned vendor pre-populated pricing agreement
Vendor Rebates and Corrections
- Submit and reconcile manufacturer rebates
- Correct customer invoices with cost issues
- Maintain close interaction with Finance for General Ledger activities for rebate receivable reconciliations.
- Assist Accounts Payable with cost issues in a timely manner
Reporting
- Provide weekly price override and profitability reports
- Provide weekly commodity costing
- Generate monthly negative Margin Report
- Create and maintain Proposal Works files for specific customers
- Other reports as requested
Other
- Ad Hoc activities as requested
Knowledge and Skill requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Advanced), Access
- Become proficient in pricing process and tables in current business system
- Excellent data management skills
- Knowledge of Supply Force and Vantage National Contract Processes preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturer product data, specifically pricing data
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principals
- Attention to detail
Education
Four-year college degree or High School diploma plus five years equivalent experience.
Certificates, licenses, registrations
Valid class “C” CA driver’s license
